The England Deaf Karting League (EDKL) regrets to announce that Round 2 at Kart Silverstone, originally scheduled for 27 June 2026, has been postponed due to preparations for the British Grand Prix Formula 1 event.
We are extremely disappointed by this situation, as the circumstances were completely beyond our control. Unfortunately, Kart Silverstone only informed us of the issue approximately six weeks before the event, and we believe this should have been communicated much earlier.
Following discussions by the EDKL committee, it has been decided to postpone the event until October 2026. At this stage, the new date has not yet been confirmed. Alternative dates in July and August were considered; however, venue availability is extremely limited, and many of our members and their families will be away on holiday during this period.
We are currently working to secure a new date and will provide a further update as soon as possible.
