The England Deaf Karting Team is proud to announce that it received a generous £1,000 funding award from Beyond Empower to support the purchase of new team race suits ahead of the 2025 European Nations Deaf Karting Championship in Italy.
The funding helped the team purchase eight brand-new Sparco Thunder Advanced kart suits in England team colours of blue and red, ensuring that drivers and team members represented their country with pride and professionalism on the international stage.
The new suits were a major upgrade for the team, as the previous suits had become outdated and were not of the standard required for high-level international competition. The new Sparco Thunder Advanced suits provided improved quality, comfort, safety, and a more professional appearance as the team prepared to compete in Italy.
The European Nations Deaf Karting Championship brought together some of the best deaf karting drivers from across Europe, providing an opportunity for competitors to showcase their talent, determination, and passion for motorsport while representing their nations.
